As you can see this collection is gorgeous and perfect for spring.

Also, I used a Cotton Candy Cottontails hand soak also from Chaotic Glitz. Yummy! This hand soak really fizzed up creating so an amazing relaxation for your hands! It smells just like cotton candy and has cute sprinkles in it as well. This literally made my hands feel super soft and so hydrated! Definitely a bonus that will spoil your hands (and nails)!!

10.1 Polish Sunshine and Rainbows (Easter/Spring) Collection

Hello! As you know, I’m a huge fan of 10.1 Polish !!! And with each collection.. It keeps getting better and better! Today I have the Easter/Spring collection, titled ‘Sunshine and Rainbows’. These polishes are amazing!! They all have the same theme running through them.. shimmery/metallic/pastel.. BRILLIANT! This whole collection is pretty fast drying and somewhat self leveling.

image

I’ll start with.. Sugar Kisses.

image

image

I’m a sucker for pinks! Especially gorgeous, shimmery, metallic pink. It’s not to bright and not to dull.. A perfect darker pastel. A 2 coater.

image

Shown wearing only 2 coats with NO top coat! This polish is absolutely gorgeous.. Makes me feel like a princess.

image

Here’s the first time of me doing roses, but this polish just screamed delicate and roses to me.. So I used a tutorial by @nailstorming. I used acrylic paint for the details and a striper brush from Winstonia store. I also added Gem Glam top coat from My Dream Polish.

Next up, Springtime Carpet.

image

image

In all honesty, I’m not a green person..I love green, but they never look good on me..I get so nervous when I see a green. But I think this polish is gorgeous. The metallics/shimmery-ness is stunning. This is a 2 coater.

image

I used 2 coats with no top coat.

image

I did a simple dotticure using dark green, light green, and white  acrylic paint, a dotting tool, and topped with Gem Glam top coat from My Dream Polish.

Mr. Blue Sky

image

image

This blue is in my top 3 of this collection.. Just look how gorgeous!! Also a 2 coater.

image

Shown above with 2 coats and no top coat.

image

I added a black acrylic paint lace design using a striper brush from Winstonia store. Then topped with Gem Glam top coat from My Dream Polish.

Morning, Sunshine

image

image

I’m not a yellow person either. I personally don’t think it flatters my skin or nails at all.. but that’s just me personally. As far as the polish goes.. It is beautiful and consistent with the rest of the collection.

image

Here’s 2 coats with No top coat. The photo might be a bit more bolder then the actual color.

image

Here’s a more accurate picture of the color on your nails. I used white, black, and orange acrylic paint and Chevron vinyls from Lou It Yourself. I topped with Gem Glam top coat from My Dream Polish.

How about this shimmery champagne colored? This is Sweet Sherbet.

image

image

A gorgeous shimmery/metallic pastel peachy/orange.

image

2 coats with no top coat.

image

I added a little Easter basket and Easter eggs using acrylic paint, a no name silver striper, a striper brush and small dotting tool from Winstonia store. Topped with Gem Glam top coat from My Dream Polish.

Lastly, the other top 3 favorite is Lilac Fields.

image

image

Tell me that isn’t gorgeous? I love this color!!

image

2 coats with no top coat.

image

I just used acrylic paint, a striper and small dotting tool from Winstonia store, and Gem Glam top coat from My Dream Polish to create this look over Lilac Fields.

image

This whole collection is perfect for Easter/Spring. I have my favorites and some my not so favorites.. But as a whole.. I really like this collection. With the right consistency, right smoothness, fast drying time, shimmery/metallic, pastel, self leveling.. this collection of truly amazing!
Thank you for reading and be sure to check out 10.1 Polish.

10.1 Polish Lucky Trio (St. Patrick’s Day collection)

Looking for a perfect St. Patrick’s Day collection? Look no further!! The Lucky Trio from 10.1 Polish has a bit of everything!

image

(From left to right) Legend of the Leprechaun, Not Just For Fools, and Topper O’ The Morning’ are the beauties that make up the trio.

image

Legend of the Leprechaun is a gorgeous seaweed green that has a holographic shimmer. Shown above in 3 (thin) coats with no top coat. Three coats is very manageable because the drying time is phenomenal (as is all the polishes I’ve reviewed from 10.1 Polish).

image

image

I added some cute St. Patrick’s Day art on top..then used Gem Glam top coat from My Dream Polish to seal it. (There will be a mini tutorial on this mani coming soon under the Nail Art section).

image

Not Just For Fools is a very versatile polish. Intended as a glitterbomb, it is also an amazing topper (which you will see below over black and white). It consists of little shreds of gold glitter..very festive for St. Patrick’s Day and perfect for creating pots of gold (which you will also see below). Shown above with 2 (thin) coats with no top coat.

image

image

See what I mean? Perfect topper and perfect for the pot of gold..it looks like real gold!! I used one generous coat over my base then topped with Gem Glam top coat by My Dream Polish. (Pot of gold is the created the same way as above which will be in the tutorial coming soon under the Nail Art section.)

image

Lastly, is Topper O’ The Morning’. This green glitter topper just screams St. Patrick’s Day to me! I love it! I used 2 coats with no top coat.

image

image

I put it over a green and white to see the contrast. I also did some four leaf clovers and dots on my accent nail. (Four leaf clovers tutorial will also be included in upcoming post I keep mentioning). I don’t know if I like it better over white or green..they both look gorgeous! I topped with Gem Glam top coat by My Dream Polish.
All in all..the consistency of the glitters is wonderful..I didn’t have to fish for glitters or dab at all. (But as with any glitter polish it is recommended -not always needed but recommended- to set the bottle upside down for two minutes before application so the glitters can distribute evenly). The formula is great..it spreads evenly and dries quickly.
I hope you find the Lucky Trio as beautiful as I have.
And keep an eye out for the tutorials coming soon. I’ve slacked a lot blogging and plan to have at least 2-3 posts a week ranging from swatches, to nail art, to nail care, etc. So hang in there with me!
Thank you for reading!!

100% Natural Cuticle Treatment by Joha’s Love

If your anything like me, you just absolutely hate the way your cuticles look. My cuticles have always been horrid! Below is a picture of how my cuticles used to look.

image

I absolutely love this mani, but those cuticles totally ruin the picture! I was getting so frustrated because even though my designs were getting better, my cuticles were so noticeable. With all the cuticle balms, cuticle oils, cuticle butter, etc. I was at an absolute lost at where to start!! I’ve tried lotions, cuticle removing gel, and my last failed attempt was coconut oil. Now don’t get me wrong, some of those things did work, BUT they were only temporary fixes. Within an hour my cuticles were back to being dry. So I was using those products A LOT!! And I’d apply those products after a manicure..when all the oils soaked in (when my fingers were no longer shiny) I’d pull out my camera to snap a pic..low and behold my cuticles were back to being a disaster.

I started using cuticle balm.. Which helped a little, but once again was only a temporary fix. I needed something that was really going to hydrate my cuticles. Something that was going to fix the problem not just mask it for a little bit.

Finally, I seen a new product by one of my favorite indie makers. The label is what sold me.

image

I thought to myself cuticle treatment.. Surely this would be my answer and of course it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try.
(In no way am I obligated to review this product, but I want to post about this because I fully believe in it!)
When I applied the treatment for the first time I was in awe! There’s really no words to describe the amazement I had.. So I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
Here is my left hand.. Before, during, and after. (all taken within about 15 minutes or so,  I just waited until it was all soaked it.) I did push back my cuticles, as I have done with everything. I also took of my nail strips.

image

The next picture shown is my right hand.. Same process and time as the left.

image

That’s one application!!!!! OK.. So how does it look after its all soaked it and you’ve straightened up the house and made lunch? Here’s my left hand 3 hours later!!!!! This has definitely been my miracle!

image

Now not only does it improve your cuticles but the overall skin around your nails as well!

Take a look at the following pictures..

image

image

I had a very hard time with the ‘side walls’. That’s what I call them anyway. The sides of my nail beds were sooo dry that whenever I painted my nails.. The polish would get down in there and NOT come off!! And the corners.. Oh don’t get me started! They were so hard and rough.. But since using the cuticle treatment by Joha’s Love Nail Polish I have had no more problems with that!

image

image

That’s a huge difference!! I’m very impressed with the results!!
Maybe this post will reach someone who was struggling like me!!
Check out Joha’s Love Nail Polish (IG) to vote her polish collections or her store to place an order!!

10.1 Polish (newly revised) Practically Magical Collection Swatch & Review

Boy oh boy do I have something for you today!   The Practically Magical collection by 10.1 Polish has been revised!

image

From left to right we have Snake Venom,  Mermaid Scales, Eternal Life, Elixir, Love Potion, and Antidote.
First let me say that YES my shots are showing 3 thin coats.. BUT the drying time in all of these polishes are phenomenal. In all seriousness, in the time it takes me to paint one coat of normal polish and let it dry then add another (undried) I literally have three coats of these polishes fully dry.
These linear holos scream perfection!  Even the formula is perfection. These polishes go on smooth and with the right consistency. Not to mention the beauty in these! But I know,  your ready to see the photos!! Here you go..

All photos shown are 3 thin coats with top coat (light box photos are using a no name top coat,  sun shots are using Gem Glam Topcoat by My Dream Polish).
First up is Snake Venom, a beautiful yellow holo.

image

image

image

Next up is Mermaid Scales, a lovely green holo.

image

image

image

Next is a stunning blue holo named Eternal Life.

image

image

image

Below I have Elixir, a perfect purple holo. (one of my personal favorites)

image

image

(both of the above were taken outside because my light box wouldn’t capture the color)

image

Moving on is Love Potion a red linear holo (also one of my favorites).. Side story, I was wearing this on the way to pick up my son from school and that was the first time I wore the polish out and I was constantly staring at my nails! These pictures do not give the polishes justice there’s so much beauty the camera can’t capture!

image

image

*charm is from Ms Nailgasm.*

image

And last but certainly not least is Antidote, a beautiful pink holo.

image

image

image

There’s polishes are absolutely a must have.. I’m telling y’all I just can’t capture the beauty these polishes offer (trust me.. I tried). But definitely head over to 10.1 Polish’s instagram or store to see more pics and other polishes as well as place an order.
Thank you for reading this and I will leave you with a sun shot of the collection.
